If the background is dark, a white font would be great. If the background is a light Window, a black font would be better.
Of course that size will not happen. However, if I van make it bigger I think that will also help with visibility. You fix is similar to Atomic's. Remove the transparency under the clock and all is well. I have done that. That is not what I am looking for. Transparency is a must. Download stronghold 2 for mac.

It doesn't change the font color, but it allows you to make the taskbar whatever color you want it to be, so maybe you can find a color to where the contrast will make it easier to see. That doesn't change the color of the whole taskbar though.
