Build quality of this unit was quite surprising, but as advertised, and while I didn't grab any images when I opened this unit up, I was quite surprised to see the internal hard drive also wrapped in a second layer of rubber to further enhance it shock protection. Performance was on par with expectations and in testing we were able to reach 130 MB/s read and write within Windows and 126 MB/s with OS X 10.10.
