It arrive, in such a bit sized package I thought there must be more coming. I picked up the timber vernier and was amazed that the product was exactly as it said. I proceeded to apply the vernier; easy as! Straight on, no worries, lined up perfectly. Super impressed with this product, clearly the best around and great to show off to to all my friends. Makes and already great looking product of the surface pro 3 and outstanding attractive and trendy product now the envy of all my friends.

Posted by JP on 19th May 2016 I was searching for some type of thin protective cover for my Microsoft Surface Pro4 and this loved the look of the Toast but hesitated because I didn't know if the magnetic pen would still attach and hold on the side. Ordered it anyways and to my joy, the pen still holds through the wood.
If I replace with a different color, I may try sanding the edges down for a rounded look/feel. Recently i found that the cover at the back pop up a little bit,it wont fall off it because it jist pop up a little bit,i only notice this after holding it.Still the best cover, totally recommend it. Our Surface line has been Microsoft Certified and heat dissipation should never be an issue, nor should it affect the cover.

Interestingly, many of them come from TSA agents, and airport personnel in other countries as well. Those guys see a zillion laptops a day, so the fact that so many take notice is a bigger-than-average compliment, methinks.
I installed both back panels using the tape hinge method and they went on perfectly. Took my time with the sides and they also went on without a hitch. The tolerances are tight and everything lined up really, really well. Installed, and I LOVE it. The cold, 'machiney' feel of my SP3 has been bid adieu.
The Ebony cover looks fantastic and really make the whole tablet have a much more subtle and higher-quality feel. 
Also, covers for the buttons are a fantastic touch (*rimshot*).

The cover does a great job of protecting the delicate finish on the back of the Surface and everyone that see's the cover compliments the look.
It arrived safely in great packaging, went on very easily compared to other skins, the firmness of the wood really helps get it aligned easily. Quality of the skin is amazing, feel is rich to touch, took away that really cold feel of the Pro3 to the skin.

When I bought my Surface Pro 4 a year ago, I also purchased a clear skin for the backside.

I just installed a walnut cover on my new Surface Pro3, and it's another winner. Other reviewers complained that their Pro3s didn't fit in a dock with the cover on -- but mine fits with no problem at all.
It's not really a protective case, more like a cover to protect against scratches BUT it's far more than just that. This is the most elegant cover around - PERIOD. I'm extremely satisfied with this (one might even say over the moon!).
